The project consisted of removing two old steel and wooden bridges and replacing them with two new concrete box culverts. One of the locations was completely underwater when the work began. An earthen cofferdam was constructed completely around this location large pumps were implemented to remove and keep the water from within. This allowed the new construction to be done in a dry environment. The roadway was also reconstructed on each side of the new culverts.
